Hockey athletes that want to work on the skills of hockey, speed for all sports, and strength and power should look into our new Accelerated Athlete Hockey Performance program. 

 

Our Hockey Performance program is a one-stop shop for athletic development. This program covers everything from strength, developing power, speed, and quickness in addition to skill development in controlling/shooting a puck and stride improvement while skating. 

 

WHAT'S IN THE PROGRAM

Athletes will work with a trainer to develop proper skating mechanics to produce more power and speed with better efficiency. These results will be achieved by improving proper knee bend, stride length, skate recovery and upper body control. Skating sessions will mimic game situations so the athlete can experience similar intensity and fatigue levels to develop the skater’s aerobic and anaerobic thresholds. After being on a skating treadmill players are amazed at their speed with an effortless stride.

SKATING TREADMILL

This isn't just "Open Shoot". This program is as comprehensive as they come. When it comes to handling the puck our athletes will cover it all. Athletes will learn different pass-catching techniques for an optimal shooting position. We'll stress the mechanics of every shot in any situation from long shots to an effective net-front presence. However, a good shot isn't worth much if you can't create space to get it off. We'll teach how to create space through stick handling drills to develop hand-eye coordination and confidence with the puck.

STICK HANDLING & SHOOTING

The fact is that all things considered equal, the bigger, faster, stronger, more powerful athletes tend to win in any sport. These things can't me improved without putting the time in the gym; anyone who says otherwise is lying to you. Our program improves raw strength to help fight through defenders, explosiveness to be the first player to the puck and power to be able to pull away from the opponent and not get caught.

ULTIMATE PACKAGE

5 TRAINING SESSIONS/WEEK

The most comprehensive off-season program with pre and post testing on the skating treadmill. This program covers everything from stride improvement, developing power, speed and quickness in addition to skill development in controlling/shooting a puck. 

2 Skating Sessions (60 minutes)

2 Stick handling & Shooting Sessions  (60 minutes)

Unlimited Accelerated Athlete Training:

Weightlifting, Plyo's, Speed, & Agility (Monday - Friday: 4:00PM)

Unlimited Open Shoot

8 Week Program ----> 40 Training Sessions

3 TRAINING SESSIONS/WEEK

SILVER PACKAGE

If you need to dial back the volume or you're a multiple sport athlete and need to limit your training sessions this is the program best suited for you. This program also includes pre and post testing on the skating treadmill. 

2 Skating Sessions (60 minutes)

1 Stick handling & Shooting Session (60 minutes)

2x/week Accelerated Athlete Training:

Weightlifting, Plyo's, Speed, & Agility (Monday-Friday 4:00PM)
